NetFestival 2002
is an online competition and live awards ceremony showcasing and
celebrating the best work on the World Wide Web in 9 categories. The
Rio de Janeiro 2002 awards ceremony takes place at 5:00pm, Saturday,
November 30th, at the Rio Othon Palace, following
the NetFestival 2002 Conference that will include experts of Webdesign,
programming, animation that work for major online agencies. The
NetFestival 2002 categories are Sound, Digital Photography, Game,
E-Commerce, Stories, Broadband, Usability and Navigation, Mobile and
E-Learning.

There are two main ways to participate in the NetFestival 2002: by
entering creative work on the online competition, or by attending the
conference. In fact, you should do both!
Anyone, anywhere can nominate work to the NetFestival. Nominations in
9 categories are open now through 5:00pm EDT, Saturday, September
30th.
Who Should Attend: NetFestival 2002 are for digital artists,
designers, animators, developers, programmers, content creators, sound
experts, art directors, advertisers, film and video producers, web
producers, strategists and entrepreneurs.
EUROPRIX is Europe's
leading Multimedia contest, it is supported by the European
Commission, other members countries as an EU Member States'
initiative and many players of the business. The EUROPRIX is
receiving about 500 entries each year from over 30 nations and is
being held for the 5th consecutive time.
Participants from European Union Member States, the EFTA
countries, as well as from the Applicant States from Central and
Eastern Europe, and Malta, Turkey, Israel, and Cyprus are welcome.
We are inviting professional Multimedia and New Media producers as
well as students and creative newcomers to participate with their
most exciting and best projects.

15th of July, 2002 and have to be submitted to the EUROPRIX Office
in Gyllenstormstr. 8, 5026 Salzburg, Austria.
